— MEET OUR DOCTOR —
Dr. Dan Boone, O.D.
Dr. Daniel E. Boone is a native of Southwest Missouri. While growing up in
Springfield, he attended Greenwood Laboratory School and then
Southwest Missouri State University (Now Missouri State). In 1991 Dr. Boone
graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tn. He and his
wife opened Nixa Family Eye Care in 1992, Purchased Table Rock Family
Vision Care in 2000, and Marshfield Family Eye Care in 2016.
Dr. Boone and his wife, Lynn, live on a small farm with 4 of their 7 children,
Caleb, Christian, Addison and Ariah. The Boones oldest 2 children are both
practicing optometrists, Daniel works with his dad at Nixa Family Eye Care
and Marshfield Family Eye Care. Katie lives and works in Eastern Tn. Near
her husband’s family. Carter, Their third child, lives with his wife in Wichita
Ks. where he is attending medical school.
Dr. Boone enjoys hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities and prefers to spend his summer hours with his family on Table Rock Lake. Dr. Boone and his family enjoy attending Northpoint Church in Nixa, mo.
While Dr. Boone enjoys the daily challenges of Primary Care Optometry, he has worked hard to develop a strong therapeutic practice treating eye injuries and eye infections, glaucoma, and dry eye. Dr. Boone loves the challenge of a complex contact lens fit and enjoys seeing patients of all ages.
Dr. Daniel A Boone
Dr. Daniel A. Boone is an Optometrist that earned his degree at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He has experience diagnosing and managing a variety of ocular diseases and conditions. Dr. Boone is great with children, and is happy to provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Boone is a Nixa native, but spent time in Columbia MO, Memphis TN, and Salt Lake City, Utah for schooling and externships. He currently lives in Nixa with his beautiful wife. They do not currently have children of their own, but are foster parents to an amazing little boy.
When not practicing Optometry, Dr. Boone loves spending time with his family, classic Japanese cars, and building whatever new project his wife has come up with.
